Home Socialization provides individuals and families with
the opportunity to take home 6-8 week old puppies for
several days and socialize the pups to new & different
sights & sounds. This program is a wonderful way for
families to volunteer together while giving these
exceptional pups the best start possible as they begin
their Journey of becoming a Guide Dog.

their superb temperament & health and plenty of

program for volunteers able to spend a few hours a week at
our Canine Development Center. Volunteers are scheduled
on a weekly basis to come in and work directly with pups

The Home Litter Care Program is a great opportunity for
volunteers to take home a brood and her litter of pups and
provide them with a safe, nurturing home environment for
approximately 5 weeks. Exposing these young pups to the
sights & sounds of a busy, loving home will build the pups
confidence and chances of reaching their potential as a
Guide Dog.
